Budapest Airport can implement developments worth 1.53 million euros, 70 percent of which will be provided by the European Union, and the remaining amount will be covered by Budapest Airport, the airport operator told MTI on Tuesday.

Budapest Airport is developing a cloud-based air cargo handling system

According to the announcement of Budapest Airport, it has received EU support as a member of a consortium that can spend 25 million euros on a sustainability project called STARGATE.

The airport operator will be responsible for the development and establishment of a paperless, cloud-based air cargo management system, together with other sustainability projects, mainly concerning the terminal, energy efficiency and traffic improvements. (MTI)
