The British families are facing with huge food price increases in the next ten years
The food spendings of the British families will grow a lot over the next ten years – shows the study of a British governmental body. The British population may suffer an almost twofold price level increase, than the citizens of most Western European countries.
The British families are much more severely affected by the rising prices of food, than the families of Western Europe.
The rising prices will increase the average annual food budget of the British families by over 4 thousand pounds (1.4 million HUF) in a decade. The rise of prices is caused by the growth in global demand and the increasing scarcity is exacerbated by the poor harvest of this year. (Braunmüller Lajos, Világgazdaság Online)
