The taste of the Brazilian sun in every sip: OMV introduces a new Single Origin coffee
A new member has been added to the OMV coffee range: VIVA Single Origin Brazil is an exceptional coffee made from 100% Arabica, which is a Direct Trade product from a family farm in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil. The coffee gives notes of cocoa, caramel and hazelnut, which is complemented by a delicately present citrus, providing a full and sweet taste. The launch is accompanied by a Europe-wide campaign featuring the works of a Brazilian-born French artist.
VIVA Single Origin Brazil comes directly from the heart of Minas Gerais and is made exclusively from the highest quality Arara coffee grown by Familia Peixoto on its own family farm. The farm is located in the picturesque Rio Grande Valley, where the combination of altitude, rainfall, topography and temperature gives the coffee beans their unique character. The coffee gives notes of cocoa, caramel and hazelnut, which is complemented by a delicately present citrus, providing a full and sweet taste.
“OMV is pleased to present this 100% Arabica coffee, which brings the rich flavors of Minas Gerais to our customers. This product not only provides an exceptional taste experience, but also reflects our commitment to sustainability and fair partnerships, while offering the essence of Brazil in a single cup. We are proud to be able to bring this unique product to coffee lovers in Hungary”
– said Kováts Botond, marketing manager of OMV Hungária.
For both the new VIVA Single Origin and the popular VIVA Classic Blend, OMV relies on the Direct Trade organization, which means a strong, direct partnership with producers and fair remuneration for them. In addition, OMV and Direct Trade use part of the profits from the collaboration to support development programs and sustainability initiatives in the countries where the coffee beans come from.
