The Bosnian Mladen Miljanovic won the 2009 Henkel Art.Award. prize
Henkel Central Eastern Europe’s (Henkel CEE), Henkel Art.Award international tender was sustained this year for the eighth time, with a7000 euros first prize. Bosnian Mladen Miljanovic became the winner of the 2009 art contest.
The award ceremony and the exhibition was held in the Stiftung Ludwig building of the Museum of Modern Art in Vienna.
The Henkel Art.Award 2009 received nearly 840 works from 31 countries of Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The received number of entries is a new all-time record in the eight-year history of Henkel Art.Award.
