Every year the prize is given to a winemaker who has been producing stable good quality, making wines that are successful in Hungary and abroad, and doing a lot for the benefit of winemaking in general. Mr Figula’s father already earned the same recognition back in 2000. Meanwhile the Hungarian Sommelier Association has decided to honour the following with its Par Excellence award: winemaker – István Szepsy, wine trader – Winehub, restaurant – Kistücsök Food & Room (Balatonszemes), wine writer – Imre Dlusztus, wine teacher – Sándor Ember. //
