The introduction of the county pass and the national pass will also be seen in domestic tourism and hospitality
The introduction of the county pass and the national pass in public transport on May 1 will be an epoch-making change, the MÁV-Volánbusz group told MTI on Saturday.
They wrote that this is the most significant tariff development of the last three decades by the domestic long-distance community service providers.
It was pointed out that from May 1st, with the new passes, you can travel the entire county, or even the entire country, using MÁV-START, Volánbusz, MÁV-HÉV or GYSEV flights.
Travelers will be able to use the intercity flights of these companies without restriction in the area indicated on the pass. The county pass and the national pass make it possible to travel on tens of thousands of buses and fixed-route routes without having to buy another ticket or pass.
It is hoped that with the introduction of the new tariff products, both road and fixed-track interlocal public transport will become more competitive and attractive, will mean better service, more flights, less waiting, and will have a positive effect on domestic tourism and hospitality as well.
