Atmedia adds BBC Earth to its international portfolio in Hungary

Atmedia Group is expanding its international media portfolio with the addition of BBC Earth, following a new long‑term agreement with BBC Studios. Under the deal, Atmedia will handle advertising sales for the channel in Hungary starting in April 2026. The company sees the representation of globally recognised content brands as a key pillar of its strategy and aims to broaden its cooperation with BBC Studios in the future.

BBC Earth offers premium factual programming focused on the natural world and scientific discovery, featuring productions from some of the world’s leading documentary filmmakers. The channel provides a local‑language version in Hungary, inviting viewers on an immersive journey of exploration.

Atmedia already manages commercial sales for major international media owners such as The Walt Disney Company, Viasat World and Warner Bros. Discovery. Its portfolio includes globally known brands like National Geographic, Disney Channel, Viasat History, Discovery Channel, Eurosport, ID and the Cartoon Network family. With BBC Studios joining, Atmedia’s international brand portfolio has grown to fourteen channels, covering high‑demand genres including factual entertainment, true crime, sports (including Olympic broadcasts), history and kids’ content.
