Most of the beaches of the Lake Balaton are now on European level

Most of the beaches of the lake are now providing European level services – Balassa Balázs, president of the Lake Balaton Association (BSZ) said on Wednesday in Balatonfüred, at an event organized for the beach operators.

Near the Lake Balaton 47 toll and 46 official toll free beaches can be found, most of which are operated by local governments.

The president said that the beaches of Lake Balaton evolved tremendously. The Blue Flag beaches qualifying competition plays a great role in this. More and more beaches are involved in the competition and more and more of them meet the expectations. (MTI)
