Lidl Belgium to open 80 new stores by 2038
Lidl Belgium, which currently operates 302 stores in the country, is planning a major expansion: opening 80 new stores by 2038. The growth will be supported by a new 43,000m² distribution centre, which is going to be built in Herentals next to the E313 motorway to supply stores in the Antwerp region from early 2027; the investment’s budget is EUR 122m.
