Eight million kilograms of food for people in need
Food Bank already collects leftover food from 406 grocery stores and 132 food distributors. In 2021 the organisation saved 8 million kilograms of food, helping 250,000 people in need and cutting down on food waste at the same time. Last year the value of food donations went above HUF 7bn. Food Bank president Balázs Cseh thanked charity partners and the food companies working with the organisation for their work.
