HUF 67bn budget for sustainable water management
This autumn several new grant opportunities will open up for the development of sustainable water management, with a total budget of HUF 67bn. 80% of the funding will be provided by the Hungarian government and 20% comes from the European Union, said Imre Hubai, state secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture. The objective of the programme is to enable farmers to implement developments that mitigate water shortage caused by climate change.

A total of HUF 67 billion in funding is available across three application rounds to support irrigation development and strengthen sustainable water management
