MBH Bank and Mastercard supported the Hungarian Ecumenical Relief Organization with HUF 65 million
The joint fundraising campaign of MBH Bank and Mastercard has ended, as part of which the credit institution offered 50 million forints and Mastercard 15 million forints to the Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Organization. As part of the campaign that took place in December 2023, MBH Bank customers were also able to participate in the support of the Aid Organization, since every bank card purchase increased the amount of donations collected for the organization.
MBH Bank and Mastercard entered into a partnership during the Advent period of 2023 in order to support the work of the Ecumenical Relief Society in the framework of a joint campaign. At the end of the campaign, MBH Bank provided HUF 50 million and Mastercard HUF 15 million in support to the Ecumenical Aid Organization, which the two organizations handed over in February this year.
In the joint action of the banking group and the large company between December 4 and 31, during the festive period, every Mastercard bank card purchase issued by MBH Bank contributed to the support of the Aid Organization. The campaign was implemented with the aim of drawing attention to the importance of donating and to reach as many needy people as possible. In addition to using a bank card, customers had the opportunity to make an additional, individual donation on the donation interface created on the website of the Ecumenical Relief Society, from which nearly 500,000 forints were collected for the organization.
