Tetra Pak manufactures cartons made of plant-base plastic
Tetra Pak® uses plant-base plastic as the first company in the packaging industry for the production of beverage carton boxes.
The world's leading food processing and packaging solutions manufacturer, announced today that from now, all of its products manufactured to the Brazilian market will be produced from plant-based, polyethylene made from sugar cane. As the result of the innovation renewable raw material proportion of the 1000 -ml Tetra Brik® Aseptic Edge cans (by including the paper, cardboard) is increased to 82 percent.
