53 billion HUF for water management until 2020
In the new EU budget period Hungary can spend 53 billion HUF on water management tasks – Mezei Dávid, Deputy Minister of State of the Prime Minister’s Office
The Deputy Minister of State, responsible for agriculture and rural development explained that in the 2014-2020 period, 1,250 billion HUF will arrive to Hungary for rural development programs from the funds of the Common Agricultural Policy. It is planned that 53 billion HUF will be spend to build new irrigation systems, upgrading the old ones, on soil reclamation and water retention. (MTI)
