4,84 million tons of winter wheat was produced this year
The harvest of winter wheat has been completed. Almost 4.850 million tonnes were harvested in Hungary from almost 950 thousand hectares – the Minister of Agriculture said on Thursday in Csorna.
Nagy István emphasized that the supply of the country is assured, and that amount is enough for 20 million people.
He announced that the national average yield per hectare is 5093 kilograms, while in Győr-Moson-Sopron county it is 5320 kilograms. (MTI)
