The Hungarian countryside can be developed from 4,265 billion HUF EU funds by 2027

4,265 billion HUF will be available for the development of the Hungarian countryside, Hungarian agriculture and food industry through the rural development pillar of the Common Agricultural Policy until 2027, of which 1,529 billion HUF will be received this year and next, the Minister of Agriculture said at a press conference in Budapest on Tuesday.

Nagy István added that they would like all Hungarian agricultural entrepreneurs to be the winners of these historically large-scale subsidies. At the same time, financial opportunities will only work if there is a willingness to invest and develop in the farmers, he added, noting that the government will facilitate the generational change of agricultural enterprises, create more favorable conditions for family entrepreneurs and settle undivided common land ownership.
