350-billion trade surplus in the first quarter
In March, the trade balance surplus was 653 million euros (172 billion HUF). In the first quarter it was 1.317 billion euros (349.9 billion HUF) – reports the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
In the first three months of this year, the export value was 16.2 billion euros (4,352 billion HUF) and import value was 14.9 billion euros (4,002 billion HUF).
In February, the surplus was 373 million euros (102 billion HUF), the balance improved by 78 million euros (14 billion HUF), compared to last February. In the first quarter of 2009, import was 13.256 billion euros, while exports was 13.838 billion euros.
