34,000 more have worked in the last three months than a year ago
In June-August, 34,000 more people were employed than a year earlier, with the average number of employees rising to 4 million 517,000, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.
The employment rate of 15-64 year-olds rose to 70.2 percent. Men were characterized by higher employment rates than women, and the improvement was more significant among them. The number of people employed in the primary labor market increased by 61 thousand, while the number of employees working abroad increased by 14 thousand, while the number of those who declared themselves to be public employees decreased by 41 thousand.
