The annual turnover of cosmetics and household chemical products is 300 billion HUF
Last year, the retail turnover of the household products and cosmetics increased by 1 percent, compared to the previous year and is around 300 billion HUF. Nielsen market research company registered a 2 percent decrease in volumes.
The turnover of toilet paper increased by 15 percent, detergents by 14 percent, toothpaste by 6 percent and diapers by 6 percent. The turnover of soap and kitchen towel also increased in both value and quantities.
The concentration of purchasing places continued. Consumers continue to favor, the large sales spaces of the chains with increasing proportion.
