Catering turnover increased by 2.8%
In November, the volume of catering turnover increased by 2.8% after the 2.1% drop in October, while its sales revenue increased by 33.5% as a result of significant price increases, despite the fact that the decrease in real incomes may have caused a drop in demand. while many caterers have announced the suspension of their activities in recent months.
However, these could be offset by the continued recovery of tourist traffic, and the open restaurants operate with full houses based on experience, so there was no decline in the catering sector. The improvement in tourism supports the balance of services and, through this, the improvement of the current account.
