Tourism can be developed from more than 250 billion HUF worth EU funds
In the next seven years, 250 billion HUF worth non-refundable EU support resources will be available for tourism development – Horváth Viktória, Deputy Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy, responsible for Tourism announced on Friday, at the thermal season-opening ceremony of the Büki Spa organized.
According to her, if the tourism developments of the following years will be well planned and properly aligned, there is a hope that the number of legally employed people in the tourism industry will significantly increase and the sector can generate more than 10 percent of Hungary's GDP. (MTI)
