Revenue of 250 thousand euros at the mushroom auction
A 750 white truffle has been bought at an auction for 100 thousand euros (27 million HUF) held in Grinzane Cavour, Nortern Italy. A total of 11 Italian white truffle came under the hammer. The Revenue was 250 thousand euros.
The white truffle is a rare treasure, its collection, therefore subjected to authorization. Main collection period is in October and in November. The tubers like, delicious and nutritious mushrooms occures mainly in the Mediterranean territories. The white truffle lives in symbiosis with the roots of candles, oak, beech, poplar and hazel – reports privatbankar.hu.
