The private label products of the chains brought 240 billion HUF turnover in the first half of the year
The Hungarian consumers bought private label food, household chemical goods and cosmetics in a value of about 240 billion HUF in the first half of this year, which is 7 percent more than in January-June last year – the Retail Index of the Nielsen consumer information and knowledge services company reveals.
The turnover from private label food products of the chains during the first six months amounted to nearly 210 billion HUF, which is 28 percent of the entire turnover of the ninety food categories measured by Nielsen. 30 billion HUF turnover was registered in case of household chemicals and cosmetics between January and June. This is 19 percent of the total turnover. (Nielsen)
