ALDI reduces the price of pork by 22 percent
From the beginning of this year the ALDI has significantly reduced the price of pork. The company remains committed not only to provide the highest quality, best price / value ratio products to the customers, but also provide the best price advantage for its customers. From the beginning of 2016 the VAT of pork decreased from 27 percent to 5 percent via a 22 percentage points VAT reduction, so the fresh pork carcass meat will be 17 percent cheaper from 2 January.
The ALDI, however, went further and not only give its customers the price advantage resulting from the change in the value added tax, but decreased the gross price of all products with 22 percent. In addition the price cut not only covers one product or a short promotional sales period: the store plans that the customers can have access to cheaper pork in longer terms.
