2026: stricter EU rules and digital waste tracking
2026 could be a tough year for the circular economy in several respects: EU bans and transparency requirements will come into force, while in Hungary the digitalisation of waste management and EPR will become more integrated into corporate operations, according to Körkörös.hu’s summary of the year.
