For this, it has a suitable system of tools at its disposal, which provides the opportunity to act in the most effective way from a consumer protection point of view, taking into account the nature and durability of the legal relationship between the consumer and the business, as well as the nature of the service provided to the consumer, and the peculiarities inherent in the circumstances of the business entering into a contract with the consumer – stated the With Napi.hu, Géza Fazekas, head of communications at the Supreme Prosecutor’s Office.
In addition to monitoring the general contractual terms and conditions of several other businesses and investigating applications, the prosecutor also conducts an investigation into the operation of online stores.
