By 2020, the straw disappears from the Starbucks cafes
Starbucks, the world’s largest coffee chain announced on Monday that it will eliminate plastic straws from its stores globally by 2020 – mfor.hu wrote.
The move is environmentally gratifying, as according to the company’s figures, consumers burdens the nature with one billion plastic straws each year.
The CEO of the company said that the cafe is committed to sustainability and that limiting the use of plastics also serves this purpose. (mfor.hu)
