The finance of food chain surveillance will mainly be paid by the trade from the middle 2012
The finance of food chain surveillance will be transformed from the middle of next year. The new system replaces the former, which will take the changed conditions into account – announced Bognár Lajos, Deputy Secretary of State at the Ministry of Rural Development (VM) responsible for food chain surveillance and agri management on Friday in Budapest at a professional conference.
Previously the meat industry contributed with 47, animal husbandry by about 14, and trade by 18 percent. In the new system financing will significantly shifted towards trade by 53 percent, while the meat industry's sahre will be 15 percent. The animal husbandry will contribut by 4 percent from the financing of the supervisory system in the future. (MTI)
