The number of small farmers has tripled since 2010
More and more small markets can be found in the country, while the number of small producers have tripled since 2010, and their number is now over 17,000 – the Minister of Agriculture told M1 news channel on Wednesday.
Fazekas Sándor said: Good quality local products are available on the producer markets, which is especially important at Christmas.
He added that there are about 300 producer markets in the country, while before 2010 the producer markets practically did not even exist. (MTI)
