The utilization of ATMs decreases since 2008
In recent years, the number of ATMs was steadily increasing in Hungary, while their utilization decreases since 2008.
Since the beginning of the crisis, the installation of the machines slowed down: during the four years ended in 2008, their number increased by 40 percent, but in the following one and a half year period, their number increased by only 4 percent. According to the datas of the Hungarian National Bank (MNB); 4806 ATM were operating in the country last year – reports Világgazdaság Online.
