19,000 workers at the Amazon became infected with the coronavirus
This was announced by the company at the request of advocacy organizations who suspected the company of endangering the health of its employees by not closing its warehouses during the pandemic.
Amazon says the infection rate among its workers is 42 percent lower than would be expected based on the way the virus spreads in the population. (portfolio.hu)
