Aldi’s store number reaches 177 in Italy
Aldi closed 2023 with 177 stores in the Italian provinces of Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Trentino and Emilia Romagna. The German discounter opened its biggest store in the country in the last week of 2023, in the Precotto district of Milan. With 2,000m² of shopping space, the new two-storey store with a 56-space car park is located in a major transport hub.
