Dreher Breweries is 165 years old
The history of Dreher Brewery is closely intertwined with Hungarian history. At the end of the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century, the explosive growth was replaced by the challenges of World War I and subsequent periods in the life of the company.
Founded in 1854, the factory is one of Hungary’s oldest, continuously operating companies. For the 165th anniversary, Dreher Gold receives a limited edition packaging, and the brand is calling its consumers to reinterpret its historical posters. And the founder Dreher Antal will be awarded with the posthumous Honorary Citizen of Kőbánya title and a street will be named after him beside the factory.
