Agricultural prices rose in January after 16 months of decrease
The index of agricultural producer prices increased by 3.6 percent in January, over the same period the previous year. Analysts say, that the agricultural producer price index may remain positive this year.
According to the datas of the Central Statistical Office; the increase of January broke the decreasing trend, lasting since the September of 2008.
Within the 3.6 percent growth the price level of vegetable products decreased by 7.5 percent, while the price level of live animals and animal products, decreased by 2.3 percent – reports Népszabadság Online.
