By downloading a simple and secure application, anyone can help achieve important social goals while shopping online. Hungary is the second country in Europe where NGOs can share in the revenues of online retail with the Adjukössé Webshopdonation initiative. The creators consider it important to strengthen the culture of individual donation in Hungary.
The end of the year is the season of big purchases, when holiday preparations, Christmas gift-giving and Black Friday together generate approximately 30% of the annual turnover of stores, based on statistics from previous years, and the number of online purchases shows an increase of approximately 12% compared to the previous months.
The latest initiative of the NIOK Foundation, Adjukössze Webshopadomány, provides an opportunity for people to support a NGO of their choice with their online purchases. Moreover, this does not cost extra.
360 participating webshops, list constantly expanding
Hungary is the second country in Europe where NGOs can share in the revenues of online retail on such a large scale. The NIOK Foundation sees huge potential in this new form of donation, which it has created in Hungary with its partner operating the Polish platform.
The donation option is available at many high-traffic service providers and webshops, including Booking.com, Nike, Butlers and Brandon.
