Tesco sells 1.5 million donuts in the carnival season!
Twenty percent more donuts are consumed in the Tesco during the carnival season, compared to an average month.
This year, the customers can choose among 22 kinds of locally baked sweets in the Tesco stores including filled and unfilled, Berliner and ring donuts. The most popular is the apricot jam filled donut – of which more than 110 thousand units were sold by the supermarket chain during last year’s carnival season.
