145.5 million euros support for plantation renewal
In the new EU grant cycle 145.5 million euros support will be available for plantation renewal in Hungary – Feldman Zsolt Deputy Minister of State, resposnible for agri-management said on Tuesday in Kecskemét, at the handover ceremony of the laboratory of the Agricultural Research and Innovation Centre’s (NAIK) renewed Wine Research Institute in Kecskemét.
The Deputy Minister of State pointed out that with the establishhment of NAIK they would like to provide scientific and advisory background to the domestic viticulturist society.
Feldman Zsolt called the development of research institute in Kecskemét a priority to, because the Kunsági Wine Region with its 20 thousand hectares is the country's largest wine region, ensuring the livelihood of thousands of families. (MTI)
