Auchan Hungary offers its customers the flavors of the cuisines of 13 nations and regions all year round. An extremely wide selection awaits those interested in the islands of international cuisine, who can get special ingredients at favorable prices: whether it is Asian pasta, Italian ingredients or Mexican delicacies. So, anyone who would like to recall the flavors of a foreign holiday, or simply prepare a non-Hungarian dish, can now choose from a number of discounted products from the Auchan international cuisine range.

The most popular cuisines include Asian, Italian and Mexican. Asian combines the gastronomy of several nations: Auchan now also has Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Vietnamese and, as a novelty, Korean flavors on its shelves. All the more so because – it seems – Asian products are very popular, they account for more than a third of Auchan’s international cuisine turnover. New additions to the Korean gastronomy range include Buldak soups, Pepero chocolate-coated sprinkled sticks, Topokki (as a ready-made meal, or the pasta and a separate sauce), Bubble tea, ssamjang paste, kimchi and nori chips.

Asian pasta soups and ready-made meals are particularly popular among customers, but of course many also choose the classic Italian tomato cans and pasta. Among the new products in the international range, bubble tea drinks have quickly become favorites among young people, while the classics of Mexican cuisine, tortillas and tortilla chips, also occupy a prominent place among the most sought-after products.

“We are particularly proud of the introduction of Korean cuisine, as we have brought the flavors of the other side of the world to our customers. For example, Buldak soups, Pepero chocolate sticks or kimchi are very popular among the younger generation. We try to develop our selection according to demand, it is important to meet customer trends and newly emerging needs. We also organize larger activities for our international products every few months, with which we highlight a particular cuisine. Our long-term goal, however, is to be able to offer our customers a sale on some emblematic products every week. It is no secret that international cuisine is one of the most innovative areas of our company, and we would like to present the novelties with tasters,”

said Attila Nagy, Sales Director of Auchan Hungary. The supermarket chain is constantly developing its international offering to meet customer trends and needs. Among them is the range of private label products available exclusively from them, which includes, for example, Tavola in Italia Italian pastas, tomato preserves and pestos.
