Campari acquires French aperitif Picon for 119m euros
Italian drinks group Campari has bought French bitter aperitif brand Picon from Diageo for around EUR 119m. With this deal, the maker of Aperol and Campari strengthens its position in the group’s fourth largest market, France. Picon is currently available in two versions: an orange-based variant to be mixed with wine and cocktails, and another to be mixed with beer
