100 businesses at one address? It is becoming more common and more dangerous
From the point of view of company information, we call frequent addresses the addresses of headquarters where a large number of businesses are registered.
This is a very interesting and often dangerous phenomenon in the world of domestic businesses. It is important to note that the legal environment itself permits and even regulates the framework for the administrative operation of enterprises registered at one address, and no general conclusion can be drawn from the fact that many enterprises operate at one address. At the same time, the data show that it is always worth being a little more careful at addresses where there are a lot of businesses.
In many cases, it is also natural if there are several businesses at a given address. If an entrepreneur is the owner of several companies at the same time, a joint address may be justified up to a certain number and size of companies. It is also a phenomenon when there are no distinctive addresses within an industrial park or office building and this causes the mass address mismatch, or even because of a – regularly operating – headquarters service provider, many businesses can operate at a given address. At the same time, despite the legal framework, practice shows that the survival ability of companies that operate at frequent addresses is much lower. In addition to these, the phenomenon where many businesses can be linked to the address of a boarding school is also highly questionable.
