Home prize worth 100 million is coming
Szerencsejáték Zrt. is launching a unique campaign in cooperation with OTP Bank from August 28. One of the most valuable domestic prizes of the past decade, a penthouse apartment worth more than HUF 100 million, can be won by a lucky Player Card holder. With the outstanding prize, the national lottery company wishes to celebrate the fact that 1 million players have now applied for the Player Card service in lotteries.
For forty years from 1950, the Sports Betting and Lottery Directorate operated within the framework of the National Savings Bank (OTP), from which the independent, state-owned joint stock company, Szerencsejáték Rt. because from 1957 until the mid-seventies, real estate was the most valuable prize draw. During this period, 505 flats, 224 family houses and holiday homes were bought by Ötöslottó players, who became owners of permanent homes with their 3 forint 30-filer coupons. The last Lottóotthon draw was held on December 3, 1973 in a hall of the Népstadion.
After fifty years, Szerencsejáték Zrt., in cooperation with OTP Bank, is bringing back the apartment prize, which the national lottery company makes available to players participating in the Játékoskártá loyalty program. The Player’s Card, launched 6 years ago – which can now be applied for at 4,300 points of sale nationwide and online – provides bettors with a number of convenience and security functions, and also provides support in avoiding excessive gambling, so that gambling really remains a game.
