FrieslandCampina introduces 100-percent recycled PET bottles
Starting in February 2021, FrieslandCampina plans to produce bottles from 100-percent recycled PET (rPET) – for its brands sold in the Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom and Hungary. This step will make the Dutch dairy company the first in the sector to switch to a circular economy for bottles. Thanks to the new rPET bottles the company’s new plastic use will drop by 1.9 million kilograms.
