Univer Product over 10 billion
Revenues of Univer Product Zrt. expanded by 10 per cent to HUF 10,5 billion, last year. This accounted for nearly half of the total consolidated revenues of the group. Pre-tax profit was HUF 810 million, which is two-thirds of the profits generated by the group. Mayonnaise accounted for 20 per cent of total revenues. Mustard and ketchup products also hold substantial market shares. The other leading product of Univer is Piros Arany, of which the equivalent of three 180 gram tubes are consumed by each Hungarian household annually. Univer is planning modest growth of only 1,3 per cent for 2007. For 2008 however, they are planning major investments worth HUF several billion.
