The price of this year's vintage wines may increase by 10-15 percent
More and better-quality grapes grown this year, but due to rising costs and improving quality, the purchase price of grapes also increases. That is why this year's vintage wines may become more expensive by 10-15 percent – the Népszabadság wrote on Thursday.
The price increase can be very different considering on wine regions, or even by wines – Tornai Tamás, president of the National Council of Wine Communities (HNT) told Népszabadság. He added that it will not be “without compensation” because this year’s vintage will be outstanding, and as he said: memorable wines will be bottled. (MTI)
