Whole grains, whole story
We already know that a balanced breakfast includes
fruit or vegetables,
valuable sources of protein (eg. milk, dairy products, lean meat, eggs, nuts)
a fluid (preferably water);
It made of full grain bread, pastries or cereal
But what counts is the total value of the grain?
The fact that it has:
Bran = Fibres, antioxidants, B vitamins and minerals
and
Inner core = Carbohydrates, protein and B vitamins
and
= Germ proteins, vitamins B and E, magnesium, and essential fats
