Last year, retail sales in Romania grew by 10.5 percent in the first eleven months
Last year, according to raw data, the volume of retail sales in Romania increased by 10.5 percent compared to the same period in 2020, the Romanian National Statistical Institute said.
According to the seasonally and calendar-adjusted value, the increase was 9.7 percent during the period under review.
The increase in raw data is mainly due to a 14.3 percent increase in non-food sales. Fuel sales rose 11.9 percent, while food, beverages and tobacco products by 5.5 percent. (MTI)
