Consumer sentiment in the euro area and in the EU also fell in June
Consumer confidence in the euro area and in the European Union has also deteriorated in June, according to a preliminary estimate published by the European Commission on Thursday.
The consumer mood index dropped by 0.7 points to minus 0.5 percentage point in the euro area.
Analysts expected a slight deterioration, 0.0 points after the 0.2 points of May.
In the 28 Member States of the European Union, the Consumer Confidence Index dropped by 0.1 points to minus 1.3 points. (MTI)
