Heineken’s profits increased last year
The Heineken beer company’s operating profit excluding one-off items rose 6.2 percent to 3.759 billion euros last year, which was broadly in line with the analysts’ expected 3.75 billion euros – mfor.hu wrote. Heineken announced that the company pays 1.47 euros per share dividends, 9.7 percent higher than a year before.
The Dutch company reported that it could increase the volume of beer sold in all regions, except for the European market where its sales were stagnant, partly due to the decline in Polish sales.
The after tax profit of the world’s second-largest beer producer increased by 25.4 percent to 977 million euros last year from the 779 million euros of a year before. Heineken’s sales revenue last year increased by 5.3 percent to 21.888 billion euros. (mfor.hu, MTI)
