NAK: drought can be avoided with artificial water supply
If the current water scarcity period in agriculture persists for a long time and there is not enough rainfall for a long time, drought can occur, but this can be avoided by artificial water replenishment – according to the communication of the National Chamber of Agricultural Economics sent to MTI on Thursday.
They reminded that the Minister, responsible for water management, declared the period of water shortage on 1 April.
During a period of persistent water shortage, producers’ fees for water fare reduced to a minimum level, no water resource contribution is required, and 70 percent of the basic fee for water services is taken over by the state. (MTI)
