Christmas shopping already started
It is just the end of the summer, but chains are preparing for Christmas, due to the economic crisis and under the pressure of the changing consumer habits. The latest surveys show that Western European consumers already started the Christmas shopping.
In Great-Britain half of the respondents stated, that they have started to purchase gifts. Seventy-five percent of them are trying to evenly distribute the costs.
One of the largest supermarket chain, Asda spokesman said there is a clear need for the Christmas items – decorations, wrappings – sale, even though many people also wonder this.
The situation is Similar in the United States. Kmart started to sell Christmas-related products and accessories – reports penzcentrum.hu.
